What You Need to Know to Create an Account:

  • You must know your Personal Education Number (PEN) before you attempt to create your account. If you don't know your PEN check with your school. The Ministry cannot provide your PEN over the phone.
  • It is recommended that when you write your provincial exam you take note of your PEN for future use in accessing your examination results. If you wrote the Foundation Skills Assessment in the past, you will find your PEN on the "Individual Student Results" reports.
  • You must know how your name is reported to the Ministry of Education. Your full legal name, as presented on your Government-issued identification, should be used. In the case of any discrepancy between the legal name and the name reported to the Ministry, please contact your school for assistance. It is recommended that your school records be associated with your legal name.
