Youth Explore Trades Sampler (TST) is typically a 12 week, 300-hour program that consists of three four-credit courses. TST provides participants the opportunity to explore up to 5 trades. Training providers and School Districts have flexibility to offer the program full-time, or part-time over a longer period. The TST program is a SkilledTradesBC youth initiative that provides financial support to School Districts/Independent School Authorities to provide industry training opportunities for youth. TST specifically provides opportunities for youth to explore several trades and receive secondary school graduation credits.
