Students must complete one of the following:
PROGRAM PIN CERTIFICATION: Senior members enrolled in 4-H clubs deliver speeches and presentations, prepare demonstrations and educational displays and attend provincial 4-H conferences. To achieve a Program Pin Certification, senior 4-H members must either earn four program skill certificates with a score of 75 percent or higher or complete a Provincial 4-H Conference and 3 program skill certificates with a score of 75 percent or higher.
SAFETY PIN CERTIFICATION: To receive a Safety Pin Certification, senior 4-H members must complete four of the eight 4-H Farm Safety Senior Skills (two from Part A and two from Part B) and score 75% or higher on each marked component.
PROJECT PIN CERTIFICATION: To achieve a Project Pin Certification, senior 4-H members must enroll in a designated project following the completion of their junior proficiency certificate and receive four senior skill certificates in that project area. The four senior skill exams are both written and practical, with 75 percent required to pass each exam. - HST SUB Code: 0181
