290 08 - This paper is characterized by its thorough analysis of the text and topic. The written expression is merely competent and contains repetitive word choice, but the depth of discussion raises this paper to the upper level.

318 19 - Although there are minor mechanical errors, this essay possesses some flair and a sophisticated use of language. The analysis of the text is good overall despite a conclusion which contains some speculation and only superficial discussion regarding Dan and Mr. Luria.

229 25- This paper is characterized by its smooth integration of quotes and strong grasp of the text. The essay is well-organized. Though overall the written expression demonstrates a strong grasp of the language there is present occasional repetition, and with the exception of the word "inculcate" the vocabulary and syntax do not rise to the superior category.
