Adobe Reader Version Incompatibilities

Different versions are available for different ages of browser, and there are incompatibilities between certain versions of the plug-in and certain browser versions. If you have an older web browser, you may need to locate and install an older version of the plug-in.

Memory:

In order for your web browser to run plug-ins, you may have to increase the memory allocation of the web browser. See your browser instructions.

Web Browser Configuration:

If Acrobat and the Acrobat Plug-in are correctly installed, you should not have to change your web browser settings. However, if .pdf documents are not appearing properly, or are attempting to launch a different program, you may have to edit your web browser's MIME type settings.
