D.8 Distributed Learning

Distributed learning is an alternative to classroom-based instruction for Kindergarten to Grade 12 students, including those with special needs.

School districts should establish policies and procedures related to the provision of electronic and distributed learning programs. These policies must reflect relevant sections of the Act, Ministerial Orders, and meet the requirements and guidelines for students with special needs taking a distributed learning program.
