Satisfaction SurveyHelpful Information for Survey Administration
E-satisfaction survey 2008 administration is from early January
to the end of March. All surveys can be completed on-line. Schools that requested paper surveys for parents or staff will receive them during January 2008. Paper surveys will not be printed for students. It is expected that schools will participate in electronic surveys, as paper surveys for students are no longer printed. There are many advantages to e-surveys, such as ease and speed of completing surveys, almost instant feedback on participation and completion status, and faster results reporting of satisfaction levels for schools and districts. Solutions for common e-administration issues have been organized and provided in e-Administration Problems and Solutions (67 kb PDF). Unlimited phone and email support will be available to schools during business hours. Further information can be found in the technical requirements (88 kb PDF). If you face major obstacles to administering the student survey electronically, you can contact a representative at your District Office (This contact information will be provided by the e-survey provider, AWIS.) Please note that student surveys completed on paper must be data entered by the students school. Student responses on paper surveys will only be accepted as data entered into the on-line electronic survey system. Please contact AWIS if you require instructions or assistance. Tips on e-Survey Administration in Large Secondary Schools For your convenience, a contact list of large secondary schools that successfully administered the survey electronically to their Grades 10 and 12 students has been included. BC school administrators can contact them about how they manage their timetables to accommodate e-surveying. E-surveys allow districts and schools the option of adding questions that are relevant to local conditions and issues. To add questions, contact AWIS at 1-866-558-5339 or email at dwillock@awinfosys.com Instead of adding questions about human and social development, some school districts may wish to participate in the Citizenship and Social Responsibility Survey. Participation in the satisfaction survey is valued and encouraged
by the ministry, districts and schools. The following sample
newsletter content is provided to facilitate promotion
of the survey. |
