Learning Roundtable

The Learning Roundtable was created in fall 2005 as a forum for education partners to discuss critical issues related to learning conditions in the public school system, such as class size and class composition.

The first meeting of the roundtable took place in Vancouver on Oct. 24, 2005, with Premier Gordon Campbell and was chaired by Honourable Shirley Bond, Education Minister at the time. Two representatives each attended from the B.C. Teachers’ Federation, the B.C. Confederation of Parent Advisory Councils, the B.C. School Trustees Association, the B.C. School Superintendents Association, and the B.C. Principals’ and Vice-Principals’ Association.
