Personal Education Number (PEN)
The Personal Education Number (PEN) is a nine-digit number assigned to each student as they enter the British Columbia education system. This identification number follows the student through their Early Learning, K–12 and post-secondary education.

Exams Information for Students Grades 10-12
Several links with information regarding examinations for Grades 10, 11 and 12, including the Handbook of Procedures, graduation requirements and transcripts.

Provincial Exams Grades 10-12
Exams certify the performance of B.C. students graduating from Grade 12. This section includes information on the exam schedule, practice exams, and student sample responses.

Find out your exam results as soon as they are available. Requires a security passcode to access.

These documents contain Prescribed Learning Outcomes and Suggested Achievement Indicators for each grade.

Open School BC K-12 Resources for Students
K-12 resources designed to address learning outcomes and compliment what you are learning in school. Open School BC has many complete courses, as well as supplementary resources to provide you with extra help.

Course Registry Grades K-12
A listing of all courses offered in B.C. from Kindergarten to Grade 12, including Ministry-developed courses, board/authority-authorized courses, as well as those developed by external organizations.

A web portal, created by the Virtual School Society, with all kinds of information about distributed (online) learning in British Columbia, including how to get help when you need it.

Sharing the Dream
All of the Ministry’s programs and resources related to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Satisfaction Survey
These annual surveys gather information from students, parents and school staff to determine in what areas schools may need to improve.

Student Appeals
Through the appeals process, students can appeal decisions made by employees of the board of education to a superintendent of achievement.

Public Library Services
Assists public libraries through a variety of programs and services. These include support through grants, advice and information, training initiatives, interlibrary loan support and library-related publications.
