The School Act and the ministerial orders authorized under the School Act outline the reporting requirements for formal and informal reporting of student progress. The School Act and accompanying orders also identify the roles and responsibilities of the Ministry, school administrators, and teachers in the implementation of these requirements.

The revised Student Progress Report Order [PDF] includes the new requirements for reporting student progress and an implementation schedule. The Student Reporting policy has also been revised to reflect changes in the Student Progress Report Order.
