Bringing greater consistency and clarity to reporting practices in British Columbia's schools |
The revised Student Progress Report Order [
34KB] is based on recommendations from the report card consultation that took place between January 2004 and March 2005.
Feedback from the province-wide consultation process emphasized the need for clear, plain-language report cards based on strengthened provincial reporting policies and guidelines. This website outlines the requirements of the Student Progress Report Order and provides:
- sample primary report cards that meet those requirements.
- optional standardized provincial report card templates
and updated

The new order [
34KB] will ensure greater consistency in report card content and provide districts with the autonomy and flexibility to choose the report card formats that best suit the needs of their students and parents. Districts can choose to modify their present report cards, develop new report cards, or implement the optional standardized provincial report cards.
