POLICY
In order to graduate, students are required to earn a minimum of 2 credits of Grade 11 or Grade 12 Fine Arts and a minimum of 2 credits of Grade 11 or Grade 12 Applied Skills. This can be accomplished through Ministry-authorized courses or external credentials, courses based on the learning outcomes of the Applied Skills 11 or Fine Arts 11 program guides, or from a limited list of courses that fulfill both the Fine Arts and Applied Skills requirements. These courses are listed in the Course Information Book.
PROCEDURES
Students have several options to earn the requirements of at least 2 credits in the Fine Arts and 2 credits in the Applied Skills subject areas to meet the requirements of the 1995 Graduation Program. To do this, a student can choose among the following options to amass at least two credits in each area, as set out in the Course Information Book and the Handbook of Procedures. Ministry-authorized courses may include credits earned through external credentials in the Fine Arts or Applied Skills areas.
