British Columbia Agent Qualifications

The Authority must, during the continuation of the Agreement, maintain one British Columbia Agent.

The British Columbia Agent must be an individual who meets all of the following requirements:

• is approved by the Province in writing,
• resides within, or frequently travels to, British Columbia,
• is a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada within the meaning of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, R.C.S. 2001, c.27,
• is fluent in English,
• holds a Certificate of Qualification,
• has working knowledge of the educational program in British Columbia for Kindergarten to grade 12, and
• has full authority to represent and legally commit the Authority in all dealings with the Province.
