Plan to Improve Reading
At the Summit on Learners and Literacy, Premier Gordon Campbell and Education Minister Shirley Bond listen to Ellen Szita tell how she learned to read. The summit helped mark Family Literacy Week in B.C. The Premier announced at the summit the $27-million first phase of ReadNow BC, an action plan to help British Columbians improve their reading skills.
