What's New for Suppliers

  • Science 10 Learning Resources
    In order to facilitate the ordering of resources for the new Science 10 (2008) IRP, the Ministry of Education is pleased to provide the following list of recommended learning resources. The accompanying grade collection chart and annotations will be posted on the Grade Collection web page as soon as it is available.

  • Spring 2008: The Ministry of Education and the Educational Resource Acquisition Consortium (ERAC) is pleased to announce a new joint project. The project will result in the evaluation of learning resources for the following new/revised Integrated Resource Packages (IRPs) – English Language Arts 8-12, Home Economics 8-12, Physical Education 8-10, Science and Technology 11, and Applications of Physics 11-12. The Ministry's Grade Collections will be updated as evaluations are completed.

  • Changes in Recommended Learning Resources
    Do you have a New Edition of a recommended learning resources? If the resource is not significantly different than the old one, it may not require a full evaluation. Do you need to contact us about a price increase, or the discontinuation of a recommended resource title?
    The process is temporarily closed pending revisions.
  • Continuous Submissions (Provincial Learning Resource Evaluation Process)
    The Continuous Submissions Provincial Evaluation Process is temporarily closed pending revisions.
  • Withdrawal
    Current Grade Collections list all of the provincially recommended resources. Any titles listed in older IRPs not included in the Grade Collections have had their recommended status changed to "Withdrawn" as per Policy Document: Withdrawal of Recommended Learning Resources.

    Schools may continue to use "Withdrawn" learning resources provided local school board approval is obtained for the continued use of the resource pursuant to Ministerial Order 165/93.
