How to Order Recommended Learning Resources

Recommended Learning Resources are listed and described in Grade Collection Annotations.

There are 2 options for acquiring Recommended Learning Resources.

Option 1: The BC Ministry of Education executed the BC/Alberta Memorandum Of Understanding [160KB], a 5-year agreement for the acquisition of learning resources, signed October 8, 2003.

Under this agreement, the Alberta Learning Resources Centre (ALRC, part of the Alberta Department of Education) provides BC Recommended Learning Resources via a consolidated, one-stop online ordering.

The Ministry of Education has assigned the field support responsibility for this agreement to BC Educational Resource Acquisition Consortium (ERAC)

Option 2: Recommended Learning Resources can be ordered directly from the supplier(s) as indicated in the Grade Collection Annotations.
