The Personal Planning K to 7 Update does not significantly alter the content or intent of the original Integrated Resource Package. Modifications were done to reduce repetition among learning outcomes and, in some cases, to make them more age appropriate. Concerns about privacy and sensitive content have been addressed in the Introduction and a set of Grade Collection resources has been identified in Appendix B. These modifications align Personal Planning K to 7 with the updated (1997) Career and Personal Planing 8 to 12.
Learning for Living Curriculum Guide
The ministry gratefully acknowledges the contributions of the individuals and organizations who participated in the development of the Learning for Living Curriculum Guide (1990). Much of the updated Personal Planning K to 7 Integrated Resource Package remains based on the content of the Learning for Living Curriculum Guide.
