Some hard copies of Ministry publications are available for purchase from Crown Publications.
Learning Resources
Ministry-recommended learning resources to support the provincial curriculum are identified in the Catalogue of Learning Resources. They are organized by grade and the Annotated Bibliographies include details on ordering. School districts may order learning resources from any source they choose
Ministry recommended videos have been evaluated through a provincial level process and are approved for use in B.C. classrooms. These videos may be ordered through the B.C. Educational Resource Acquisition Consortium (ERAC).
ERAC evaluated videos have been identified for use in B.C. classrooms using a comprehensive ERAC evaluation process. These videos must be used in conjunction with local board of education policies on the selection and use of learning resources. The videos may be ordered through ERAC.
Both Ministry recommended or ERAC approved videos can also be ordered directly from commercial suppliers. Note that ERAC often facilitates bulk purchasing and licensing agreements.
In addition, there are more than 3,000 learning resources in Open School BC's Online Catalogue available for teachers, students, and parents.
