Technology Education IRPAppendix G: Illustrative Examples Introduction


This appendix contains a series of examples designed to help teachers understand the prescribed learning outcomes for Applications of Mathematics 10 to 12, Essentials of Mathematics 10 to 12, Principles of Mathematics 10 to 12, and Calculus 12.

The prescribed learning outcomes have been paired with examples that illustrate the types of activities an average student should be able to complete for each course.

Please note that these illustrative examples are not intended to be used for assessment of student performance.

Examples of multi-strand and interdiciplinary problems that most students should be able to solve are indicated with an asterisk (*).
