Prescribed Learning Outcomes

Searchable Learning Outcomes Database

This FileMaker Pro Runtime database contains all English and French Prescribed Learning Outcomes (PLOs). It allows you to search, browse, print and export the PLOs. FileMaker Pro software is not required to run this program.

How to Operate the Learning Outcomes Searchable Database

Once the program has been downloaded to your computer, double-click to open the "2007 LOs.EXE" file for Windows or the "2007 LOs" file for Mac.

Upon opening the database you will be presented with a copyright screen. From here, choose English Learning Outcomes or French Learning Outcomes. The next page will give you the different search options available.

To exit or quit the program, use the "QUIT" button located on each page.

To download and install:

Windows - Internet Explorer

• click the Windows icon
• select RUN from the options offered
• choose a file location for the downloaded file
• click "unzip"
• a "2007 LOs folder" will be downloaded to the requested file location

Windows - Mozilla

• click the Windows icon
• double-click the 2007PLOs.exe file in the "Downloads" window that appears
• choose a file location for the downloaded file
• click "unzip"
• a "2007 LOs folder" will be downloaded to the requested file location

Windows - Netscape

• click the Windows icon
• ensure "save to disk" is selected and click OK
• in "Downloads" window, double-click the 2007PLOs.exe file
• choose a file location for the downloaded file
• click "unzip"
• a "2007 LOs folder" will be downloaded to the requested file location

Mac - Internet Explorer

• click the Mac icon
• a folder named 2007 LOs Folder will be downloaded to your desktop

Mac - Netscape / Mozilla

• click the Mac icon
• select "open with Stuffit Expander"
• a folder named 2007 LOs Folder will be downloaded to your desktop
