Prescribed learning outcomes
in this IRP are expressed in terms of tasks to be performed and not in terms of
language items to be mastered. Assessment and evaluation of language acquisition
focus on studentsÕ abilities to understand others and to express themselves
comprehensibly and appropriately. Assessment and evaluation do not focus on the
mastery of grammar for its own sake.
Where possible, the prescribed
learning outcomes show progression through the grades.
