New Applicants:
If you are a new applicant and have never held an independent school teaching certificate, please proceed to the IS-CERT application, follow the screen based instructions in IS-CERT in order to register for a basic BCeID and create a new profile.

Existing Teachers: (that have never entered the system and are applying for CRC)
If you have held an Independent School teaching certificate issued in the past, your original profile might already be in the application database. The system detects your previous profile and will prevent you from building a duplicate profile. If your name has changed please indicate your maiden name or other name that was issued on your certificate.
Please note: An Independent school principal cannot request a subscription code for the applicant. We will only issue subscription codes to the applicant as per the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Step 1:
Download the Subscription Code Request Form, submit and email back to our office. We will send you a unique subscription code which will allow you access to your personal profile. Please update your personal information, and continue to the next step apply for a Criminal Record Check (CRC) or apply for Teacher Certification if your certificate has expired.
Step 2:
Once you receive your subscription code from our office proceed to the IS-CERT application and follow the instructions to obtain a basic BCeID.
Once registered for a basic BCeID you will then be prompted to enter your subscription code. Please select "I have received a subscrpition code by mail from the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools" and enter the unique subscription code supplied from our office.
