Information & Technology Management Standards
The main audiences for this site are: proponents who wish to respond to Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for information technology development projects and information technology services, contractors, application maintenance service providers, other ministries, and agencies within B.C. Government that wish to know about the ministry’s information technology standards.
The Ministry of Education’s information and technology management standards are a series of processes, templates, deliverables and tools that are helpful in the estimation of effort, cost and time for information technology projects/services.
Proponents must read the standards information on these pages that are essential components of application development and service delivery. Information systems must also comply with government-wide information management and information technology standards. The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) publishes government-wide standards.
