Walking School Bus and Bicycle Train Program

B.C.’s Walking School Bus and Bicycle Train Program supports school communities in planning safe routes to school, increasing daily physical activity and reducing their carbon footprint. Program resources include guides for how to set up active transportation programs, interactive training webinars, route mapping tools, and road safety tips.

The Walking School Bus and Bicycle Train Program is a joint partnership between the ministries of Education and Healthy Living and Sport, the Hub for Action on School Transportation Emissions (HASTE) and the Directorate of Agencies for School Health BC (DASH BC). For more information on the program, visit the HASTE BC website.
