French Programs provides support and is responsible for:

Policy development for French Language programs
Federal Funding Support under Official Languages in Education Protocol (OLEP)
Provincial Coordination of two National Programs, Explore and Odyssey, as well as the B.C. - Quebec Six-Month Exchange Program, French Teacher Bursaries and Student Fellowships
Provincial contact for Federal Department of Canadian Heritage regarding First-Language Education (Francophone) and Second-Language instruction (French Immersion and Core French)
Preparation of Federal Financial Statements and reports on use of Federal Funding
