2007/08 - Revisions to Applications of Mathematics 12

1. The examination will be based on the updated prescribed learning outcomes (IRP 2006). (55 KB)
2. Curriculum Organizers have changed.
3. Patterns and Relations – Fractal patterns and Number Sequences will no longer be examined. This organizer will only include Sinusoidal Functions and their applications.
4. Shape and Space (Measurement and Vectors) has increased in proportion from 25% to 38%.
5. Statistics and Probability – Statistics and Normal Distribution will no longer be examined. This organizer will only include Probability. The proportion of the examination for this organizer has decreased from 25% to 15%.
6. As a result of this updating, changes have been made in Examination Specifications and the Provincial Examinations.
7. The Formula sheet and the Sample Questions have been changed.
8. A Sample Examination for the new curriculum will be available.
