Reporting on K-12 Education
Outlines the Ministry of Education reporting for the British Columbia education system from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Data Collections K-12
Details on Data Collections, including requirements, submission forms and deadlines. The information gathered is used in the calculation of Full Time Equivalent (FTE) students for public schools, which relates to funding levels.

Student Achievement Data Exchange (SADE)
The information collected through SADE provides schools, districts and the Ministry an additional resource to monitor and support student achievement.

Course Registry
The Course Registry is an online compilation of all Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses offered in B.C. It is the most up-to-date and accurate source of information for students, parents, schools, districts and government.

ReadNow BC District Literacy Plan
In collaboration with community partners, districts have completed comprehensive literacy plans. The plans support all members of the community, from early learners to adults.

Portable Inventory
Portable Inventory Data Collection aids both the Ministry of Education and school districts in maintaining detailed records of portable classrooms. Requires a security passcode to access.

Satisfaction Survey
Satisfaction surveys, administered annually as part of the accountability cycle, gather opinions from students, parents and school staff on achievement, human and social development, and safety.

Citizenship & Social Responsibility Survey
Information on this optional survey for students in grades 8 through 12, designed to determine students’ commitment to the values of active citizenship and social responsibility.
