StrongStart BC: PEN Assignment & Attendance
School districts are required to ensure each child attending a StrongStart BC Early Learning Program is assigned a Personal Education Number (PEN).
Districts are also required to collect enrolment and attendance information about the children attending the program, including names, birthdates and ages of children, and other information necessary for the successful operation of the program and to report to the Ministry.
