Financial and Administrative Services Branch

The Finance and Administrative Services Branch provides a wide range of financial and administrative services to:

  • the Ministry of Education
  • suppliers
  • funded agencies
  • central agencies of government
  • other agencies, boards and commissions

These services include:

  • budget development and monitoring
  • financial reporting
  • policy development and advice
  • decision support
  • audits for compliance with policy
  • assistance and guidance regarding development and implementation of financial systems for the ministry
  • management of facilities and space requirements including maintenance, moves, heating, lighting, furniture, and standards
  • payroll and accounts payable
