Corporate Planning
The Corporate Planning Branch helps the ministry anticipate, prepare for and respond to evolving and emerging education priorities.
The branch’s responsibilities involve both corporate planning and strategic initiatives.
It keeps track of how well the ministry is doing in meeting its plans and goals, through production of regular status reports like the ministry's service plan.
The ministry's service plan is a key strategic document that outlines ministry goals and objectives for the next 3 years. The service plan outlines the steps the ministry will take to address challenges and opportunities in order to meet its goals and highlights how this will be measured.
The branch serves as the primary ministry contact with central BC government agencies and works to co-ordinate education-related priorities and activities.
