Work Experience

Back to Making the Transition

Students who combine course work and related work experience tend to cope best in today's work environment. In the competitive job market, employers are looking for individuals "who can hit the floor running" and move right into a position. High school career programs and post-secondary work placement programs are excellent ways to marry course work with on-the-job application. See also Apprenticehip.
