It's hard to imagine that golf, gardening and bird watching are the three fastest growing recreational activities in North America. These fields have largely been positively affected by the demographics of Canada, specifically the baby boom generation born between 1947 and 1966. This largest "bulge" of Canadian population is generally pursuing less strenuous activities and spending a great deal of money while they are doing it. Services from estate planning to health care to convenience services and travel are on the increase as members of Canada's wealthiest cohort group, born 1920 to 1939, are reaching their golden years. Opportunities abound to serve both those cohort groups with goods or services.
With your teen goods, brainstorm goods or services that baby boomers or seniors might be needing over the next 10 years. Any work opportunities there?
