Challenges to Transition

Back to Parents Helping Teens

Some youth experience situations that might put them at risk in terms of achieving their full potential. Often there are situations youth experience that impede their ability to work within the school system and that affect their self esteem. Key for parents to remember is that school staff particularly counsellors are available to assist both parents and teens with issues that might require professional help in resolving. Help your teen meet the challenges they face during their adolescent years by working with them to address their concerns and issues.
