How to Apply |

|
You can apply on-line to most universities, colleges and institutes in BC using the Post-secondary Application Service of BC. With PASBC, the application process is quick and simple. You can submit multiple applications on-line and your personal information only needs to be entered once, since this part of the application is common to all of the institutions. When you apply through PASBC, you are notified instantly that your application has been received, and you are assigned an application number that allows you to check the status of your submission at a later date. Many of the institutions allow you to pay application fees by credit card when you apply. The Alberta Learning Information Service has an on-line application section where you can apply for admission to 10 Alberta institutions which use a shared electronic application service. Once you have completed your application to any one of these institutions, you can re-use most of the information to apply to others on the list. Five additional Alberta institutions have their own electronic application systems that can be accessed from this site. To apply to an Ontario College use the Ontario College Application Service website. All applicants to a college program listed in the Applicant Guidebook of the Ontario Colleges must apply through the Ontario College Application Services, either on-line or by mail. A student who wishes to apply to a program not listed in the Guidebook should contact the college offering the program for further instructions on the application procedure. You can request an application package for any of Ontario's 18 universities through the Ontario Universities Application Centre. In the winter of 2000, the OUAC plans to have an on-line application service available for Canadian applicants. Please continue to check their web site for further information and an announcement on when the on-line application will be in operation. |
