Reaching Higher for Students

The 3rd Annual Teachers’ Congress will be held in Vancouver on November 28, 2008. Registration is now open to all BC public, independent and band school teachers. Student teachers are also invited to apply.

The Congress will bring together public, independent, band school and student teachers from across the province to encourage the discussion of important educational ideas and how they can be used across the province with colleagues, and the Minister of Education. The Congress offers teachers an opportunity to share their views, and make suggestions for positive change based on their experience and expertise as educators. Hearing from a broad spectrum of teachers with a variety of experience, teaching specialties, and from all regions of the province, will ensure a balanced discussion.

Registration is now closed: the deadline for applications was 12 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2008.
