Statement of Financial Information
School Districts are corporations as explained in Schedule 1 of the Financial Information Act.
For consistency with the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act respecting Public Accounts reporting, a Statement of Financial Information (SOFI) must be submitted by each school district within six months following the corporation's fiscal year end.
Statements
- The BC Legislative Library retains prior years' Statements of Financial Information for school districts.
- The Ministry of Education compiles a collection of statements annually. Beginning with the 2009/10 fiscal year, the statements are available electronically.
