In December 2005, Edudata Canada completed their report on the findings of their research, Learning and Career Pathways: Tracking the Education Career Path and Employment Status of BC Teachers of Aboriginal Ancestry. The report makes recommendations for increasing the number of qualified Aboriginal teachers in British Columbia and for improving data collection in these areas. The ministries of Education, Advanced Education, and Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation, who jointly contracted Edudata to undertake the project, will share this research and recommendations with stakeholders and education partners.

The Society for the Advancement of Excellence in Education (SAEE), supported by the Ministry of Education, undertook a research project to identify positive practices that contribute to Aboriginal student success. The resulting report is titled Sharing Our Success: Ten Case Studies in Aboriginal Schooling. In addition, SAEE conducted further research and released a report titled Sharing Our Success: More Case Studies in Aboriginal Schooling.
